It's 100% true that most of the enemies in Sunshine are made by the paintbrush, Yoshis included. Jumping Bloopers (and, upon further observance, all other types of seafood enemies in Ricco Harbor including regular Bloopers) are most likely natural, as they can be seen as a food export in Ricco Harbor in most levels. The Chain Chomplets and large Chain Chomp from Pianta Village are definitely enemies, but they're someone's pet, and don't disappear in water like most of the paintbrush enemies. The Sand Bird is stated to have been in an egg since long before the events of Sunshine, as the tower appears to have been built specifically for it (although you could classify it as something other than an enemy) I racked my brain trying to see if that was universally true, and I don't think it is.Ĭataquacks seem to have already existed in Gelato Beach, as a resident knows them by name already.
